If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase, We invite You to review this policy on shipping, returns and refunds carefully before using any of our events registration, ticket registration, or shopping services, whether online or in person.
This Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all visitors, users and others who access or use any shopping or exchange of goods and services functionality available on this Website. You also accept our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy by accessing and using this Website. If you do not agree with any of these Terms and Policies, please do not use any of our Services.
1. Interpretation and Definitions
1.1 Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
1.2 Definitions
For the purposes of this Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy:

"Company" (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to the Guardians of the Children, Gastonia Chapter.

"Goods" refers to the items offered for sale on the Service.

"Orders" means a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

"Service" refers to the Website and all functionality related to the exchange of Goods, including ticketing and event services. This may also include such Services offered in-person at Events.

"Event" refers to any GOC-sponsored event that is officially recognized on this Website on our Events page. This Policy extends to any previous Events that may have been since removed or archived due to changing technologies.

"Event Tickets" refers to registration tickets offered for sale for GOC events on this Website, as well as in-person at the Events themselves. Event Tickets sold in-person are only valid if they were sold by official GOC members, as indicated by our official "cuts" (motorcycle vests with the official GOC patches on them).

"Website" refers to the GOC's website, accessible from http://www.gocnc.org, including any of its related subdomains.

"You" refers to the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
1.3 Your Order Cancellation Rights
You are entitled to cancel Your Order as long as the Order has not been fulfilled yet. No reason is required to cancel Your Order.
In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by using the Order Cancellation functionality of the Website.
We use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
Once an Order has already been fulfilled, the Order can no longer be cancelled.
2. Shipping
2.1 Domestic Shipping Policy
We only ship Orders to addresses within the United States. All our orders are shipped out of North Carolina, USA.
2.2 Shipment Processing Times
All Orders are processed within 7-10 business days. orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends on holidays or GOC Event dates (all current Event dates are listed here).
If We are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few additional days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of Your Order, We will attempt to contact You via the method of contact you provided us.
2.3 Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for Your Orders will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We do our best to offer various shipping methods (speeds). Please understand that delivery delays can occasionally occur.
2.4 Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation Email once Your Order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will generally be active within 24 hours, but this is dependent on the carrier.
2.5 Customs, Duties and Taxes
The GOC is not responsible for any additional customs and taxes applied to Your Order, if any. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes).
2.6 Damages
The GOC is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If You received Your Order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

3. returns
3.1 Conditions for Returns of Goods
We are a 100% volunteer effort, and as such Returns servicing is severely limited. For this reason, we only accept Returns of defective Goods.
Returns can only be accepted if ALL of the following conditions are met:

The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days

The Goods are in the original packaging

A written description of the defect discovered

Photograph(s) of the defect where applicable

You must contact us via the Website portal or the contact page linked here to initiate a return
The following Goods cannot be returned:

The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.

The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly, or where the date of expiry is over.

The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

The supply of Goods which are found to be used, whether whole or in part, after delivery.
3.2 Returning Goods
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. Shipping charges will NOT be refunded, and you, the Customer, are responsible for the return shipping charges.
The process for returning Goods will be as follows:

Qualify based on all the Conditions for Returned Goods in Section 3.1

Initiate a return via the Website portal or the contact page linked here

Mail the Goods to the following address:

We will inspect the Goods for the described defect(s). Once inspected, we will initiate a full or partial refund depending upon the results of inspection. Please allow 15-20 business days from the receipt of your Goods for processing.
We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in delivery shipment, nor for any Goods damaged or lost during an attempted Returns. We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.
3.3 Conditions for Returns of Event Tickets
Almost all Events will include 1-2 rain dates as alternatives to poor weather, acts of God, or other similar occurrences that may prevent Event organizers from honoring the original Event Date first announced. If an Event AND all its respective rain dates are ALL canceled, we will happily refund you the full amount of your Event Ticket.
If, however the rain dates are still active and not canceled for that Event Ticket, the Event Tickets purchased online are non-refundable. Event Tickets purchased in-person would be at the sole discretion of GOC leadership on a case by case basis at the date, time, and location of the venue itself.
3.4 Returning Event Tickets
Event Tickets generally can only be returned/refunded for fully canceled Events, where the original date of the Event as well as all its respective rain dates are also canceled. Therefore there is no need to return the actual Event Ticket. You can simply throw it away.
4. Refunds
Refund Method and Timing
With a few exceptions, we will reimburse you for returned Goods and Returned Event Tickets in the same way you paid for them.
If you prefer, and if inventory permits, you can make an exchange for the same Goods item in lieu of a refund. This exchange option is not available for Event Tickets.
Event Tickets that were purchased in person, such as at the Event itself, if approved for a return by GOC Leadership at the date, time, and venue itself, will be refunded in person at that date, time, and venue via the same method of purchase that was used to buy the Event Ticket. Event Tickets purchased online will be refunded online.
For Goods returns by mail, we will process your refund within 15-20 business days from receipt of your return Goods.
For any and all refunds, Bank and payment processing time may require additional days before the refund is reflected on your account.
